Camp Daniel is looking for groups of women to a host afternoon high tea event during our 2020 summer camps! Gather a group of 4-6 women to host afternoon tea for our campers with disabilities and their counselors. Camp Daniel staff decorates the barn with white linens, brightly colored florals, lace and dainty glass tea cups and saucers. As hosts we ask that you prepare homemade traditional tea treats like cookie, scones and finger sandwiches and bring them with you to the event. At the event, hosts will welcome campers and counselors, help them select an elegant party hat, escort them to a seat and serve treats along with a variety of teas accompanied with cream, sugar, and lemon slices. Gathering a group to host afternoon high tea is a great way to get involved at Camp Daniel and make a direct impact in the lives of people with disabilities.

Details:
We ask that your group is 4-6 women.
Your group must be available from 2:00pm-4:00pm on the date your group selects.
Your group will prepare treats for 35-40 individuals and bring them to the event. Include both savory treats like finger sandwiches or roll ups and sweet treats like cookies or scones. A handful of campers each week are diabetic and cannot consume sugar so we would appreciate a sugar free sweet treat for those individuals as well. We estimate two to three sweet treats and one to two savory treats per person.
Tea, cream and sugar will be provided by Camp Daniel.
