Camp Daniels offers a rustic, industrial charm in a private atmosphere nestled in 10 acres of beautiful Northwoods surroundings. One-of-a-kind spaces and outdoor areas occupy this unique campus. Conveniently located an hour north of Green Bay, we host retreats, camps, weddings and receptions, bridal and baby showers, birthdays, graduation and retirement celebrations, family reunions, meetings, and private parties. Let Camp Daniel serve as the backdrop to your “up-north” event! All earnings fund Camp Daniel programs for children and adults with disabilities.
History of the Campus
In 1996, Camp Daniel was formed as a non-profit organization and purchased a former Salvation Army campground on Little Newton Lake in Athelstane, WI. That year work began on the ten-acre land to start construction of the all-accessible campus. Camp Daniel moved at a pace that allowed the construction phases to match the available donations of money, materials, and volunteer labor. It took 24 years of hard work, dedication, and faith to create this unique, one-of-a-kind venue.
