Meet Jebadiah (Jeb), our year-long intern! His internship with the camp crew starts January 2026. Jeb’s camp journey began in the summer of 2023 when he came on a youth group missions trip as a counselor for the week. He felt God calling him to disability ministry that week as a 15 year old kid. He returned in the summer of 2024 for two weeks, getting his drivers license just in time to drive the 6 hours to get himself here! He spent the summer of 2025 as a summer intern growing his love for the disability community. He loves the relationships that develop making life long friendships at camp.
In his role as an intern, Jeb will reside with fellow staff members in the upstairs of the Hartley House. His responsibilities will include assisting with hosting guest groups, facilitating Weekend Getaways and summer camps, coaching Crivitz Special Olympics, and maintaining the camp’s buildings and grounds. Through these Jeb will be able to continue to grow in how to serve the disability community. Leaning on God to show him the next step in how he is to be involved in Disability Ministry.
The missionary aspect of being a year-long intern constitutes a significant component of his growth and experience during this period. At Camp Daniel, all staff members are dedicated missionaries to individuals with disabilities. Similar to many missionaries, Jeb will be seeking to raise $1,045 in monthly financial support to cover expenses such as rent, food, transportation, and other essential needs. He humbly requests your consideration for financial support, whether it’s a contribution of $10, $20, $50, or $100 per month. Your generosity will play a pivotal role in enabling him to fulfill this meaningful mission.
