Camp Daniel is gearing up for an exciting Memorial Day weekend event. Last year, over 1,200 people attended the Open House and Yard Sale, shopping, enjoying delicious food and exploring the beautiful Little Newton campus. The Open House & Yard Sale will take place on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday of Memorial Day weekend, offering visitors the chance to shop at the massive multi-building yard sale. The event will also feature the popular Big Al’s Diner, a 50s-themed on-campus diner, serving hand-dipped ice cream, malts, floats, and other tasty treats. Additionally, a brat fry with cheese curds, churro bites, and more will be available for hungry visitors.
From 8am-7pm visitors are invited to explore the campus at their leisure with a self-guided tour, taking in the unique surroundings and learning more about Camp Daniel’s programs. For those looking to relax after a day of shopping, the Majestic Theater will be screening “Princess Bride” on Saturday at 6:00 pm and “Kung Fu Panda 4” on Sunday at 2:00 pm, with free admission for all.
All proceeds from the event will benefit Camp Daniel’s programs.

We are accepting donations for our upcoming yard sale fundraiser happening Memorial Day weekend! Donations of furniture, home goods, appliances, tools, antiques, and more! No clothing, please. Donations can be dropped off at Camp Daniel. Please call or text Annissa Hartwig at 715-927-5329 or DM Camp Daniel and arrange drop-off times. Thank you!
Volunteers needed: We are also looking for volunteers to help staff the yard sale. Overnight lodging and meals will be provided. Reach out if you’re interested!
Why: This yard sale and open house will be an opportunity for locals to come onto the campus, tour the spaces, shop, eat, and learn about Camp Daniel’s mission, all while raising funds for our summer programming!
